The Blue Tongue Skink is a frequently encountered backyard guest. They thrive throughout South East Queensland, and most of Australia. They feed on small invertebrates and snails. Blue Tongue Skinks typically come in similar colorations, from a yellow – grey back with brown banding. Occasionally Blue Tongue Lizards will display a quite vibrant orange shade/spotting on the belly and a deep blue tongue.
