The Pink Tongue Skink is a common resident in well wooded areas, particularly rainforest. They are similar to Blue Tongue Skinks in appearance and can be best distinguished by their pink tongue and slenderer body. These skinks are both terrestrial and arboreal and it’s not uncommon to find one climbing around in the foundation of a roof. They feed on small bugs and other invertebrates and are frequently found active during both day & night.
