The Burtons Legless Lizard is a common backyard visitor. This small snake-like lizard feeds primarily on other small lizards such as skinks and geckos. Burtons Legless Lizards can be found active both during the day and on warm nights. The tell-tale way to distinguish these interesting lizards is by their ‘pointy’ face and presence of ear-holes. Pregnant female Burton’s Legless Lizards lay quite a small clutch of only 1-2 eggs.
