The Common Scaly Foot Legless Lizard is a common guest in hinterland areas with plentiful ground lying plantation such as the introduced weed, lantana. These lizards feed on bugs and other small invertebrates that can be found throughout the forest floor. Scaly Feet are not commonly encountered on residential properties, however can be found readily on bush trails and beneath ground lying debris. Pregnant female Common Scaly Feet Legless Lizards give birth to a small clutch of 1-2 eggs.
