The Three Clawed Worm Skink is a commonly encountered lizard and is often found in compost and garden clipping piles. Worm Skinks feed on small invertebrates and are primarily active at night. They may appear to lack legs but on closer inspection, as with most of our native lizards, they do display 4 small limbs and have a skink-like tongue.
